11. Swing Confirmation

11.1 Swing Formation

Confirm swing formation with:

• 30m / 1H to confirm the swing;
• 15m PSP for early confirmation;
• 30m fourth candle high / low confirmation requires SMT;
• ask: does the 4H candle support extension?

Afyz:

• Each new PoP is initiated by swing formation.
• Each swing formation is formed by CiC.
• SMT at a key level can create a new PoP.

Additional rules:

• The market requires a swing formation to reverse.
• Swing formation requires a key level.
• Correlation cracks validate swing formation from a key level.
• Failure swing cannot be traded by itself; it must have SS and gap away.

11.2 Range Patterns for Swing Formation

• Three range patterns recur constantly: internal-to-external (trade an internal gap out to external liquidity), external-to-internal (the prior session already reached external range, so the next one manipulates back into a gap left inside it), and order-pairing ranges (manipulate one side, distribute into failure swings on the other). — Garrett — "4H Profiling", 5:01

• Internal to external: price trades into an internal key level, such as a gap, forms a swing point, and expands out to external range liquidity.
• External to internal: the previous session already reached the external range; the next session manipulates back into an internal level, such as a gap or order block, left inside that prior range.
• Order-pairing range: one side of a range is manipulated to form a swing point, and price distributes into the opposite side. This is most favourable when that opposite side is a cluster of failure swings.
